The T-Mobile G1 (previously known as the HTC Dream) is an Internet-enabled smartphone designed by High Tech Computer Corporation of Taiwan. The G1 will be the first phone to the market that will use the Android mobile device platform. The phone is part of an open standards effort of the Open Handset Alliance. The G1 runs on the Android operating system. Most Android software developers write their applications in Java, but since Android does not directly run J2ME applications, they need to be compiled first to a unique non-Java bytecode before they can be executed on an Android powered phone. The Android operating system offers the same desktop PC interface found on Windows mobile devices, but extends shortcuts and program icons beyond the 3.2in screen to avoid the appearance of clutter. A flick of a finger across the corners of the device makes the hidden space visible. The G1 comes with ChromeLite a stripped down version of the Google Chrome browser. Other software applications can be downloaded from the Android Market, which hosts existing and new services from developers. The device comes preloaded with several Google applications like Maps (including satellite view, traffic and Google Street View with a built-in compass), GMail, a dedicated YouTube player, Calendar, and Google Talk. GPS navigation is available through a built-in GPS receiver. Maps are displayed in a conventional 2D display or an overhead satellite view; the inbuilt digital compass also allows the navigation of street views in real time. The G1 comes with Amazon's MP3 mobile application. Users can connect to Amazon.com online digital music store to browse and purchase from available titles.
Y i will desired for ths G-phone(G1)..?? 1st is bcoz of it price.. it only sold at 179US Dollar(RM613).. Anyway, frm the aspect of outlook, it doesnt as cool as apple iPhone3G, but it oso got it special.. such as it got a QWERTY keyboard, ths feature had satisfited those who dun like touchscreen n more prefer typing.. besides, the 3.1megapixels camera is better than iPhone whch is only 2megapixels.. As a result, G-phone and iPhone, i had made my choice.. G-phone..my choice..

Ths is a mini-size printer... for those who like to take photoes and print it out, ths inatant mobile printer should b the 1st choice.. Images can be wirelessly transferred from a Bluetooth-enabled camera phone to the PoGo and printed instantly. Printing from a digital camera is simple; the device just needs to be connected via a USB cable to the PictBridge-enabled camera and printer. Once connected, a PictBridge screen will appear on the camera display. v jz need only select the image tat v want to send to the printer and within 60 seconds the print is ready to be shared. besides, ths mini side printer is vr handy and the price is reasonable.. so, i m going to get it one..
